MSPCA Animal Shelter at Nevins Farm - Methuen, MA

Comments: This lovely lady is looking for a new home to call her own.  Her previous owners developed allergies and could no longer keep her.  I am an independent spirit, but am most interested in being an indoor cat.  It's cold out there!  I have lived with a dog before, but would probably do best in a home without young children. If you have a place in your heart for this beautiful gal, come visit her.

Comments: Oopps!  I guess I did a bad thing and that's how I wound up here.  I was fighting with the other cat in the house and the thing that really threw my owner over the edge - I brought her treasures!  Ok, they were live animals from outside, but what else was I supposed to do out there!  I think I would like to try indoor life.  Then maybe I won't get into trouble.  If you are looking for a very friendly, affectionate cat (I mean I LOVE people) who also gets along well with dogs - take me home!

Comments: Looking for a cat to warm your lap during the long winter months?  You found her!  Cleo is a sweet cat who has lived with another cat and older children.  She would do best with older kids or adults - young children are not her thing.  She was surrendered when her owner had to move into a place that would not allow pets.  Cleo's markings are stunning - she would look beautiful sunning in your window and sharing some Turkey with you on Thanksgiving!

Comments: Meet Jeff!  He came to us as a stray and we are glad to have him off the streets!  It is getting cold out there and the outdoor life for cats is tough.  When they are not fighting the weather, there are lots of other hazards out there like coyotes, cars, fisher cats, poisons and more for them to deal with.  As Jeff is showing in this pose, he is ready to give up all that for a warm spot inside; maybe a window or couch?  How about a chair?  He'd even share!

Comments: Check out the beautiful, long whiskers on this girl! Can you believe such a cutie was a stray? SunKiss is an energetic, active girl who loves to play. She startles easily, though, and can be a little rough -- so she would do better in a home without young children. She loves attention, and likes to be held and petted. She gets along well with other cats, but has a firm "no canines" policy.  If you are ready for a dilute calico with a not so diluted "torti 'tude" stop by and introduce yourself to SunKiss.

Comments: Bianca is here at the shelter because her owner's daughter was allergic to her. Bianca is used to being an indoor-only cat. She is affectionate and friendly and loves lap time. She also has her kittenish side. She enjoys playing, especially with string toys. Her family say she is a "nosy, curious" girl who likes to explore all over the house. She likes spending time with her humans, and she got along well with the little girl in her family (age 4).  Bianca would make a great companion for any family.

Comments: This is Godiva, and while SunKiss is a dilute calico with a somewhat diluted "Torti 'Tude", Godiva is a full fledged calico with full strength 'Tude. Initially shy, she warms up quickly. Then she is a sociable girl who will have no trouble making friends with you or keeping friendly with you -- as long as you realize it's Her Way or the Highway. Godiva came to the shelter as a stray with two kittens. Taking care of them was a full-time job that has made her tough, now she is looking forward to being pampered and having someone else take care of her. Are you up to the challenge?

Comments:  This little angel is Mindy. She knows the importance of a good cat nap and isn't about to miss the chance - even if there happens to be a camera flash in her direction. She's not a big go getter and doesn't enjoy being on center stage, but if you give her a comfy lap to relax on she could be there for days. Mindy is sweet and cuddly and is searching for a new best friend. She enjoys the comforts of an indoor life and hopes never to end up as a stray again.

Comments:  Meet Unice. This petite little girl wants you to know that she is looking for a BIG home. By big, she means a place full of love, caring, and toys -- with no other cats. The only type of sharing Unice condones is sharing a lap with a wonderful person who loves her, although she would also be willing to share her toys if you'd like to play with her. In all other things, Unice believes sharing is over rated. Don't you agree?
